Can anyone help out an ignorant HPSPer? I'll be starting my intern year in June and I'm planning on riding my motorcycle to and from the hospital. Does the Army have a bunch of rules that I'm going to have to worry about? Do I have to do any extra training classes, etc? And I'm assuming it's okay to ride in uniform, assuming I don't have to wear my beret if I'm wearing a helmet, and I'm wondering if there's some kind of extra reflective stuff I have to wear like I saw people on bikes wearing.
Anyone know where I can find the official word on this stuff? Thanks!

Don't ride your bike post-call. The pavement hurts. Be sure you have a car too. The safety course isn't a big deal if you already know how to ride.

Wow. They have a lot of rules. And I'm required to take a course before I can drive on post. Fantastic.
Thanks for the link. And good thinking about avoiding post-call...hadn't thought it out that far.
