Mount Sinai Dermatology Research Fellowship in NYC – MD required
Dermatology research fellowship position available for July 2019.
The Dermatopharmacology Fellowship is a two-year, non-ACGME accredited program that introduces fellows to the fundamental principles of conducting clinical trials in dermatology, including understanding how to design, implement, and analyze trials under the principles of Good Clinical Practice and accepted ethical standards. Fellows will have the opportunity to design and conduct studies of their own and participate in ongoing and new projects based in the Department.
Projects encompass many areas in dermatology, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, pseudoxanthoma elasticum, acne, wrinkles, and skin cancer. Fellows are expected to attend investigator meetings, present original research results at regional and national meetings, and publish their findings when appropriate.
Our Department introduced its first Dermatopharmacology Fellowship program in 1994. Since then, dozens of physicians have successfully completed the program.
