Anyone have any information on the medicine program at Mt. Sinai in Miami in terms of the work enviornment, competitveness or fellowship placement?

From what (little) I know, they seem to have some strength in Cardiovascular Medicine. At the very least, they have an in-house fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and, perhaps, Interventional Cards as well.

I would guess their success at matching in the competitive fellowships (Cardiology, GI, etc.) is modest at best, since it's not a heavy research center.
