I had always thought that MSSM was a private school, but the MSAR says that it is public. Is this true? Why is in-state tuition the same as non-NY resident tuition? It it a loose affiliation like UPitt? Thanks.

My MSAR says it's private. What edition do you have? I've got the 2005-06 one. Maybe there's a typo in yours?!?

I have the same edition. It says private.

It use to be part of CUNY...which is public. Now it is affiliated with NYU so private.
