Sounds like you are already leaning towards Columbia. I'd go there. Especially if you're going to go to law school after... that's just a lot of school...
 
Are you in state at Iowa? I find it hard to justify paying private school tuition or a school of public health unless its hopkins or harvard.
 
easily columbia. their health policy/econ/management people are great. i don't know much about iowa, but the wealth of offerings the city alone brings to the program, and vice-versa, would make this decisions quite simple regardless of the cost. the few faculty and students at columbia whom i am familiar with are excellent.
