Hey guys,

I've tried searching this forum with no luck. How does an MPH from a reputed school (Hopkins, Harvard, etc.) compare to an MSc in Public Health from a reputed school (LSTHM)?

Does it not matter if the school is good?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! :)

MSc. from LSHTM is very reputable and comparable to MPH programs here in the US. In fact, many regard LSHTM as the best public health institution in the world. Of course it all depends on what you want to concentrate in.

Agreed.
There are some semantic differences between degrees (MPH vs MS vs MSPH vs MSc, etc), and some of it is country-dependent. I certainly wouldn't let something so superficial sway you. You need to look at what the school will offer you and dig a little deeper.
