Hey guys

I'm about to start my pre-reqs at Missouri State and am just curious as to any good reading I might be able to take advantage of before I start.

We have a couple nice library's here in Springfield. I'm afraid I'd feel pretty lost if I just walked in looking for material on Pre-pharm preparation.

I know you guys are years beyond me, I'm just a noob ready to start my career. Any suggestions in some good non-advanced level curriculum reading?

I've been out of highschool a couple years due to some health issues. I did fine on my act and outragous on my GED.I just dont want to feel unprepared when I start.

Thanks for the help guys (and gals 🙂

Read first year science books and some novels like Great Expectations or Ulysses. The former will help with coursework & the latter will help with Reading Comp. & Verbal Ability on the PCAT.

Don't burden yourself with 1st yr science books. It's your senior year, relax. Where is your spirit of senioritis? Might as well chill out before the start of college, where you'll most likely work harder than you did in high school.

LOL, I don't think he can have senioritis, read this quote:

Anyways,

Lance, I would have to agree with Bacillus on this, just relax and read some books for fun (read whatever interests you like I think Albert Camus is great author and his books are excellent or even Barack Obama's Dreams from my Father is good too).

Or you can take the PTCE (Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam) and become certified pharmacy technician.
