MSUCOM vs. TUCOM-CA

I was fortunate enough to be accepted by both MSUCOM and TUCOM-CA (both OOS), but now I have to make a decision. It basically comes down to whether what MSUCOM offers academically compensates for its OOS tuition, location, and my significant other's career prospects (of which he does not mind giving up for the next 4 years). I'd appreciate any advice if a current student or anyone with an insight could help me out. Thanks!

• No job prospects for my husband (he'll have to do postdoc)

TUCOM-CA
Pros

• Location, location, location (weather, diverse pt population, residency matching in CA, etc.)
• Husband can get a job

Cons

• Less established (academically& facility-wise)
• Limited research opportunities
• High cost of living

This is a no-brainer. Go to TUCOM.

MSUCOM is a more established school, but the difference in quality of education/research opportunities isn't worth an extra $120K in debt.
