I dont want it to look like i'm showing off....but isnt that what we'r supposed to do?

Arrogance is a huge turn-off for adcoms. Stay away from being cocky.

Unless you have found the cure for cancer, you really have NOTHING to be cocky about. And, IMHO, if I were in your shoes and applying, I would definitely be a little more respectful to some of the med schools you mention in your blog. You never know when an adcom might check you out on SDN--you really shouldn't sound quite so arrogant--especially when your name is in plain view. Good luck!
