Would it be possible to obtain an interview from a program after one had already turned down their offer to interview? I was unable to accept an offer to one program due to scheduling constraints, but after further review of the program, realized that I really do want to interview there. Could I just call/email the director and ask to be reconsidered?

I dont see what you have to loose. Let them know why you turned it down. Which program is it?

I was granted a mulligan - the program offered me three interview dates when I called to renege my rejection of their invitation.
