I need some advice...I interviewed at my top choice school (BU) in the middle of October, sent a letter of interest late November, got deferred in January, then waitlisted in March. I feel like if has been quite some time since sending the letter of interest in November and feel that a letter of intent would be more appropriate right now (since I know I will go if accepted) BUT do not want to overkill the situation. I don't really have anything to "update" so that's not really an option. Have other ppl sent multiple letter of interest/ intent and do you think this even helps? Thanks!

2 letters in 5 months is definitely not overkill. It might even be underkill. Especially if your first letter was not explicitly a letter of intent.

Yeah send one again, since the situation has changed a lot since the last one.

If you don't have anything to update, just tell them that you have seen a lot of schools since you last spoke/wrote with/to them, and this has reinforced your desire to attend BU because.....(whatever).....I think it is IMPORTANT that you send a Letter of Intent to them if it is where you want to go! Good luck. :luck:
