Hello,
I'm a freshman human bio major looking to go in some sort of health care (looking mainly into Pod. and OT, doing shadowing of each this summer). I took Gen. Chem 1 this semester, taking it C/NC (probably would have gotten a C-C+ otherwise and didn't want to risk GPA carnage). I have a 3.75 currently. I'm planning to take inorg this summer and intro to org/biochem next year, and then take Org. I and II junoir year and Gen Chem I and II senoir year. Would it be prohibative to apply with Gen Chem. 1 and II outstanding, assuming good grades in Orgo. (LIKED that part of Gen Chem. a lot, ironically) and other chem classes? I could probably get them in before Sr. by taking summer school, but that just costs more money and limits opps. for summer work/research/what have you? Will having taken Gen. Chem 1 for CR be a huge red flag?
Thanks for your time!
