Hello all, I want to know honestly, my chances of getting into an OT school. This is my first time applying and I am nervous about it. I am afraid about having no relevant work experience and volunteer experience in general. This is the weakest part of my application.
Major: BA in Psychology
Cumulative GPA: 3.55
Last 60-Unit GPA: 3.82
Pre-Req GPA: 3.8-4.0 (depends on school)
GRE: 154V, 150Q, 3.5W
Shadowing/Observation hours: 28 hours in hand therapy clinic, 40 hours in a rehabilitation hospital, 20 hours in SNF. Planning to do 50-60 more hours in another hospital. Total hours would be around 140-150.
Relevant work/volunteer experience: None.
Will Apply: Huntington, Lenoir-Rhyne, Creighton, Stanbridge, Gwynedd Mercy, Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, Concordia-Wisconsin, West Coast University.
Any thoughts, opinions, advice or kind words? I would appreciate it.
