Hi. I just got a new computer and hooked up my monitor to it and I notice that the borders of my screen do not extend fully in terms of the width and length of my monitor screen. There is a lot of black border that extends into the workspace of the monitor. It gives me less space for my windows. How do I maximize my borders?

You will need to use your monitor's menu (usually accessible from buttons on the front of the screen) to resize the screen. Every monitor is a little different, but look for something like "H. Size/position" and "V. Size/position"
