stay strong and survive....
I know you feel like freaking out....so just let me brag about mine tough life....

Thanks for scaring the tar out of all us pre-dents Yah-E. 😉 How do dental students keep up with all those exams? I'm used to around two major exams a month and then maybe some tests or quizzes in my inconsequential Gen.Ed. classes.

Took Physio exam #4 today and got my @ss kicked! Renal physiology killed me today. Got a big 'O 76/100! It was a tough, tough exam!

Oh well, must move onto Micro exam #4 next week!

Actually, YAH-E you have that dreaded Board Part I in July too. So you have 11 exams remaining still.

😱

Just had my Microbiology Exam #4 (Immunology) this morning. Again, it was another killer! I don't if it's the 36 credit load semester or the fact that spring break is starting this weekend or I'm simply watching too much reality TV this semester or I'm just simply burnt out.....I just haven't been doing as well this semester as last semester!

Oh well, must move on....thank god it's spring break next week! I need the break, the brew-ha-has, and a couple of dates!

Counting 'em down!!

I need to send Yahee the version of the English dictionary that is used by our work group. We ask all of the rookies to look up the word "sympathy" in our dictionary. They then discover that the word does not exist.

Well, now I am an official second year dental student (D2)! I've passed all of my courses this first year with the highest grade in 100% and the lowest grade in 74% (my only 70s this whole year and it's in Operative lab)!

Fall semester:

23 credits - 3.64 GPA (91.08%) - 17th rank out of 99

Winter semester:

33 credits - 3.48 GPA (87.14%) - semester rank unknown at this time

End of first year cumulative GPA:

56 credits - 3.56 (88.88%) - overall rank unknown at this time

My grades really dropped this winter semester due to the heavy load, I'm just glad that it's done and I can now concentrate on my next "Mt. Everest" (aka NBDE Part I).

One down three more to go!

hmm...sometimes i wish i was older...seems like older/married people tend to have more motivation... what do you guys think?

(maybe it's cause people that came straight from undergrad's just burnt out....)
