Is it true that the Navy does not put psychiatrists on ships any longer?

Last 3 or 4 carriers (East Coast) I rode had psychologists, not psychiatrists assigned to ship's company. Perhaps with the SPRINT teams going out on amphibs?

Not sure about ships and psychMDs, but I know for a fact that there is a Navy psychiatrist deployed to Kuwait right now, with another one stateside trying to avoid deployment since he's been twice already.
