Each of the following is necessary for viral antigen recognition by CD4 T-Helper cells EXCEPT one which one is this EXCEPTION?

  • Viral replication in host cells
  • Cleavage of viral proteins into small peptides
  • Transport of viral peptides to a cell surface by MHC class II molecules.
  • Binding of the T cells TCR to a MHC class II bound viral peptide
  • Internalization of the virus (or viral protein) by an antigen presenting cell.

The microflora of the healthy gingival sulcus is predominantly

  • Spriochetes and yeasts
  • gram positive facultative rods and spirochetes
  • Gram positive facultative cocci and filamentous bacteria
  • Gram negative anaerobic rods and fusobacteria
  • Gram negative anaerobic cocci and gram positive facultative cocci

Which of the following represents the most numerous leukocytes found in gingival crevicular fluid?

  • Monocytes
  • Neutrophils
  • Plasma cells
  • B-lymphocytes
  • T- lymphocytes

Which of the following muscles has an important influence on the function of the mandible although it is not generally considered a muscle of mastication?

  • Omohyoid
  • Geniohyid
  • Mylohyoid
  • Digastric
  • Sternocleidomastoid

Each of the following factors affects heights of cusps and depths of fossae on restorations EXCEPT one which one is this EXCEPTION?

  • Curve of spee
  • Intercondylar distance

  • Viral replication in host cells (that has only to do with the replication of the virus itself intracellulary and has nothing to do with antigen recognition)
  • Gram negative anaerobic cocci and gram positive facultative cocci
  • Neutrophils - most everywhere (why not here?)
  • Digastric (the hyoid muscles are assisting muscles but since u have only one choice to pick its the digastric - ant. belly is especially involved in assisting)
  • Intercondylar distance (I don't see a connection to the height of the cusps)
correct me if I wrong or u disagree
