Vit D b/c it's a steroid derivative and therefore would enter the inside of the cell and carry out its duties in the nucleus, where steroids are supposed to work.
 
Vitamin D is right! By the way, I am taking the boards in a week and was wondering what the minimum # of questions you need to get right just to pass. Not trying to specialize!!
