I am considering taking the NC Dental Board Exam in June. However, I don't know too much about it. Anyone have any info on it? Does anyone know what kind of typodonts do they use? How about which teeth are prepared on the typodont section?

Anything would be great.

I didn't take the NC boards but here's what I remember from classmates that did. There is a written 25 question test on Juris Prudence and OSHA type stuff. You have to treat three live patients doing a class II amalgam, class III composite, and S/RP. There is a section where you have to do tabletop endo (on an extracted tooth) and maybe another where you prep and temporize a crown on a typodont (not sure about that last one).

Here is the website where you can get info, but they say it can change every year. The year before me had to do a wax try in on a denture patient but my class did not.
