Say you have dental decks down cold. Approximately, what could one expect to score on part one, without looking at anything other than the decks?

hey,

Is any body here writing the test on Monday?

Hi Stdupont...
Thanks for the link.... It is really helpful...

Goodluck for Monday!

Yah ! I think the most important thing is to stay calm and confident, scare the hell out of other people :D

talk to you guys after Monday

remember, many times, " all of above" is the answer, hahaha...

All of the above

roughly how many correct answers per 100 questions are required to score a passing grade of 75?

I saw somewhere (20 years old info) that only 40 out of 100 are required. That seems incredibly low considering pure random score is 20 to 25%.

Will someone PLEASE PLEASE tell me? My wife is sitting on pins and needles.

This info is from Part I of the NBDE on December 1998:

Anatomical Sciences:

Raw Score 46-47 = 75 in Standard Score
Raw Score 73 = 90 in Standard Score

Biochemistry/Physiology:

Raw Score 41-42 = 75 in Standard Score
Raw Score 71 = 90 in Standard Score

Microbiology/Pathology:

Raw Score 43-44 = 75 in Standard Score
Raw Score 69-70 = 90 in Standard Score

Dental Anatomy:

Raw Score 61-62 = 75 in Standard Score
Raw Score 84 = 90 in Standard Score

Pretty nice curves huh?

thanks for the info.

I suppose the raw score is BEFORE they discount the ~15 experimental questions, otherwise my wife will be in big trouble.
