For those who want to know. I received a rejection letter from Nebraska today pstmarked on the 7th.

So no med school for me.

I interviewed there in early dec - as a non-res - and am still waiting to hear back.

Oh well, you didn't really want to be a cornhusker, did you?

Nope UNMC wasn't the only school I applied to. I applied there, Creighton, and the Texas schools. Haven't heard anything from the other schools, and it's getting pretty late.

My interview was the first Friday in November. I am a Nebraska Resident however, I went to school out of state (but still have Nebraska residency).

As for not wanting to be a cornhusker...I guess that's why I left for an out of state school, so it can't be all that bad.


Good luck to the rest of the Nebraska applicants. It could be as late as March 15th before you hear your fate. No more sleepless nights for me. WHOO HOO!!!!

XC--don't let that rejection get you down. you are still waiting on other schools, so there is still hope. don't give up...i just received my first (and only so far) interview. i also know people that were still interviewing in the summer, and someone who got the call the day before school started. so keep your head up and have faith. i would also recommend calling the admissions offices...sometimes that helps.
