I was recently placed on the "Interview Waitlist"....:( at CCOM. I wanted to know if anyone can give me some 'inside' info on what I can expect at this point. Is this a nicer way of saying "you're not qualified" or is there still hope at CCOM? Look forward to replies. Thanx!

Call and ask them what it means. Tell them that you are very interested and would really like the opportunity to interview. If you live close by go and visit the dean Karen Nichols D.O. Good luck.

I'm an MS-I here at CCOM and am not familiar with the interview waitlist here.

But I can tell you that Penn St. has an interview waitlist. It's not a good sign, at least for that school. But don't assume it's the same here or anywhere. ( that sounds a little too Dr. Seuss!)

As far as visiting the school, that is never a bad idea. I don't know if you'd actually get face time with the dean, but you could always begin with a phone call to the admissions office.

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get an interview.
