Hi everyone,

I submitted most of my secondaries and am currently trying to decide what to do this upcoming year. I would like to get a job and take classes to boost my GPA (3.52 cumulative, 3.40 science). But, I am not sure about the balance of my activities as I do not know how intense the application cycle gets when interviews start coming in. Here are my options:

1)
Volunteer once a week at a hospital.
Attend a microbiology lab and Spanish class (part-time student).
Get an easy part-time job.
Finish up secondaries and prepare for interviews.

2)
Volunteer once a week at a hospital.
Attend a microbiology lab, Spanish class, and English class (full-time student).
No job.
Finish up secondaries and prepare for interviews.

3) Volunteer once a week at a hospital.
Attend a microbiology lab, Spanish class, and English class (full-time student).
Get an easy part-time job.
Finish up secondaries and prepare for interviews.

What are your thoughts on these? Advice is appreciated!

Depends on how flexible these classes can be. I would ask them what their policies are for missing a class here and there. I know I had interviews back to back for three days straight.
