need advice regarding housing in NYU.

    hi, i have been accepted in nyu and now i have started looking into the housing stuff and came to know about studio apts provided by nyu which cost about $700/mo and u share that apt with somebody.so i like to know what kind of accomadation is that and if 2 people can comfortably share that kind of thing.thanks a lot for the help.

    Iam not an expert in this ...but that's not going to stop me <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> I think that sharing an apt works out really well if you want to go economical. Off campus housing are very expensive, they charge an exorbitant amt for rent. PPl working in NYC usually stay in New Jersey & travel by subway everyday ( 45min) because of that, Sharing apt is very common, that's the trend in most cities where the rent is too high.

    thanks for your reply.actually i know the option of staying in queens or new jersey,but i just want to avoid the traveling time,so looking for accomadation provided by nyu.yeah RS i graduated from davangere,how do you know that?are you also from there?
