Ok I am currently taking post-bac undergrad classes to try and improve my GPA before applying to med school. I need help deciding what to take in the upcoming fall and spring to have the best shot at getting in. Here is what I was thinking- I was going to take the MCAT in April so I want to have plenty of time to study for it. I was wondering if I took Org chem I and the lab, did research, and worked as a MA or nurse assistant in the fall and then just worked and did research in the spring if that would be ok as compared to taking more classes/less research in the fall and the same with the spring? Basically I guess I need to know if med schools would like more classes or more research experience? (both count for credits). Any help and advice would be great.
