Hello Everyone,

We are working on a new site devoted to dental transitions and would love to get your feedback. Basically the idea of the site is to use the algorithmic concept of match.com to connect dentists and associates who are buying, selling, or looking for associateships.

Among many things, the algorithm will take into account:

Location - small town v. big city
Building - stand alone, strip mall, high rise, etc.
General Practice Financials - gross production, etc.
Patient base - new patients, turnover, etc.
Equipment/Technology - what general equipment level is it, what technology is in the office

One of the highlights of the program is that it will allow buyers/sellers/associates to connect 24/7 and take control of their transition without broker fees.

With everyone much more comfortable and inclined to research and utilize the internet, we feel that this is the next industry that can benefit from this easy and helpful technology.

This is our first working version of the site and we have many upgrades and additions planned for the future including CPA partners, lending partners, valuation experts, financial calculators, a step-by-step walkthrough of the transition process.

Currently, there is no fee to browse the listings. You don't input a credit card when you sign up. In the future, you will only have to be a member to send messages to other members about a listing or to reply to messages sent to you.

As I mentioned we are looking for feedback and would love to get input from the Townies. If you go to the website www.transitiondoc.com, sign up and look around we would really appreciate it. In fact, if you private message me the e-mail you use to sign in with, we will send you a 7 question survey monkey. Complete the VERY short survey and we will send you a $5 Starbucks gift card.

We appreciate your help and your constructive criticism.

Pete

P.S. - Again, this is just a prototype and we are not trying to sell any services. We just want to get VOC (voice of customer) feedback. Thanks again!

We have started our own online dental site for selling dental equipment. It has reasonable prices without broker prices. Each and every equipment related to dentistry is available. For this purpose initially you have to make people aware about your product and services and it may be either through social media and personal meetings with the people.

Great idea! I would would think that most who are selling or offering positions probably would not feel comfortable posting their practice name or location but you should at least be able to narrow it down by state and either city or region of the state.
