Hi. I'm sure this has been addressed before...I am just trying to find similar threads. If someone can re-direct me to similar threads or give some input, that would be great.
I am a D.O. currently in an allopathic IM residency. I have taken both the USMLE 1&2. I am starting to prepare for COMLEX III and just wondering if there is the need to complete both series of exams with the mindset of "i'm studying for one, I might as well just take the other and be done with it."
Other things to consider are:
(1) I may reapply this year for a different residency altogether (most likely alloptahic).
AND
(2) should I stay in my IM program, I will be applying for fellowship (hoping again to stay allopathic).
Would having the USMLE 3 be of value in either/both scenarios?
Thank you!
