I just got a letter saying that I was selected as an alternate. I wondering if any of u guys could answer some of the questions? I am considering Creighton as my top school.

When should I write an intent to enroll letter and to who?

Does anyone know when does the ad. com. start looking into students who are put on the alternate status?

Thanks a bunch,

Joe

I am a student at Creighton. It is a great place and was one of my top choices.

As far as the letter goes, I don't know. I would address all letters to Dr. Nipper, Director of Admissions. I don't know when you should write a letter, but I'd say maybe in a month or so. I don't know when the waitlist begins to move a little, but I know that Creighton continues to interview into early April. I would guess that it wouldn't move much until after that date. It may even be as late as May 15 before things get going.

The best advice I can give is to keep in touch with the university and make sure that you update Dr. Nipper on any thing that changes in your app, ie new grades, volunteer experiences, shadowing, research, etc.
