Okay, I have had interviews before, and I have gotten into a couple of places... but UM is where I want to go, so grated I am nervous!!!

One thing I know is they are particular to how you answer why you want to go into medicine, one how you articulate that.

I do have things to say- I switched on my own terms from computer engineering quite a whiles back. But I need suggestions on how to articulate this. They dont like hearing someone say they want to help people, and I know I could have helped people in an engineering job (eg, designing life support systems, systems used in the medical field, etc). Part of why I switched was a strong desire for human interaction in what I do, and being proud of what I do. I think the largest factor was I tried imagining what I would be doing day in and out in particular jobs and the one that excited me most was medicine.

But I just am looking for some insight on how I should articulate this. Thanks!!!!!!

When you say UM, is that UMaryland? UMich? What does your personal statement say? You must've addressed this question to some extent there...

Im sorry, im from Michigan, so UofM is ingrained into me as being only Michigan. Its like when I see these schools Ive never heard of playing some sport against MSU, I get all confused, then realize that Mississippis State is MSU also!!!

So yes, UofM is UMich. And yes I did address it in my personal statement, saying similiar things but in much more detail then I did in the above message, but I want to be real clear on it at the interview!

Thanks for the help!
