Hey all, I need some help understanding the UC Davis undergrad classes. I am a UC Berkeley graduate and I've taken the starndard Cal pre-med requirements, i.e. Bio 1A and Bio1B, and instead of a second semester of O-chem, a biochemsitry course (MCB 102).

I will be taking two summer classes at Davis during summer session I to satisfy the one semester of upper division bio requirement for med schools (such as Davis SOM). My problem is that there isn't a lot offered and I'm not sure which of the BIS 101-104 are considered biochem because I don't want to overlap with my biochem class. Do you think MIC 102 and NPB 100 would saitsify Davis SOM's upper division bio requirement?

Thanks for any advice/help you can offer!

Dude. You need Chem 1a, 3a, 3b and 102 for a lot of schools.

Look into that.

BIS 102/103 are the two biochem courses at UCD.

BIS 101 is genetics, 104 is cell biology.

MIC 102/NPB 100 should both count for upper-div bio requirements.

Check out the general catalog for more information on our courses.
