Hi guys,
I have couple of questions regarding Marquette
my first choice is Marquette, but I dont know exactly what would makes me a good Candidate if I want to get in for next cycle? I am not in-state resident, would it be problem? and exactly what score do they need for sure?and what about extra activity? :scared:

I ll appreciate your input
good luck

They are a private school----in-state not such a big deal. As with most dschool if you have good grades, DAT, and have experience than you're probably a candidate. No for sure scores, but to be competitive anywhere I'd shoot for DAT=20s, 3.5+gpa, and hours of shadowing or exposure to the dental field.

Hi,
I attended Marquette for a year before going to Med School. My advice to you is to apply early, maintain a good GPA (3.3 or better), DAT of 23 or better, and work on interviewing well. Also do some volunteer work at a local dental office. and if they ask for three letters of recommendation, give them six (mostly academic).

I applied there and interviewed there and they have a very good program and new clinic which is a plus. I would keep your GPA up around 3.5 and a DAT of 19+ The information packet I got from the school stated that there incoming class had averages of AA17 PAT 17 which is not that high but you are an out of state applicant. When in doubt just call the admissions office.

thank you Dr-nice and Dr-pedo
it was really helpful
