need help with NBDE part 1

guys i need some major help... going crazy reading forum after forum so im just putting out my doubts

1)when is a a good time to give the exam if i wanna take admission by 2009
2)how long does it take to actually study this exam
3)which colleges are good to look into... ive got an immigration visa
4)do we need coaching classes or just buy the material and study

if anyone can help me it would be much oblidged.. where do i get the material in bangalore, right now still in india
