I'm only a first year, but am struggling through my basic sciences, and actually haveing TONS of trouble in physiology. Do you think that is indicative of my having trouble passing Step 1? ALSO, since you've all been here, do you have any suggestions as to how I should be learning this stuff. I am studying, but don't seem to know WHAT to study. I know I'm not stupid-unless I am and am just to stupid to know, but I'd really appreciate some feedback. Not on whether I'm stupid-just on the other stufff)

There is more on step I than just physiology. Also, by the time you take step I, you will have had pathophysiology which may help cement some of the concepts.

As for studying now:
- If your class has a syllabus, use it. You can supplement confusing topics with a textbook.
- Go to lecture. It may help if you read the material before lecture.
- Ask the professor for help.
- Put together a study group.

Hope this helps and don't get too discouraged...a lot of people find phsyiology to be difficult.
