I graduated in 2008 and I must admit, I don't remember a lot of the things I learned in pharmacy school. I am having a hard time answering my patients' questions.

I need a quick drug review. Suggestions?

Check out the RFUMS Top 200 Drugs Podcast (http://seanpkane.com/rfumspodcast) -- it covers a number of different drug classes, including clinical pearls and important patient counseling points.

For something more interactive, I recently published a flashcard and quiz-based app for iPhone and Android -- it covers the "top 200 drugs" in a no-frills, no-BS way. It's available at http://clincalc.com/mobile/FlashRX.aspx if you're interested.

Is it all online? Is there a book?

do you also have the top 200 drugs on file? can you send it to me? thank you much!

Do these really help? Is it like ProntoPass? I'm looking for a quick review as well after working in IT pharmacy for 2 years, I've forgotten a lot of stuff. Thanks.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner! It has been incredibly useful for work esp when I needed to look up something fast.

Did you just give me a homework assignment? I'm not filling that chart in.

LOL...fill it out and send it to me!

does anyone have list of black box warnings?

Fill it out for us! LOL

This book should help you move a long if you do decide to fill it out. I'm not going to fill it out, as the list has relatively limited spaces and options in terms of what I can add compared to writing it out by hand.

This would be a good project for a student

R u going to post information on the JNC-8?

Youtube video of top drugs for pharm tech LOL

Question: what is the blood pressure goal of someone who has diabetes? i have been hearing 130/90, 140/90 and 150/90.

I will be starting pharmacy school in the fall. I was wondering what is a good pharm resource for first years?

Have you worked in a pharmacy? If you are, you should put together a list of top drugs and write the main counseling points for each drug. Ask your pharmscists when they are free

Your school will have many suggestions and classes that prepare you (each having their own required books). When you become an intern, Lexi, Facts&Comparisons, and various handbooks will all be great resources. Lexi is very comprehensive and has an app (expensive, but useful).

As a student, I can't wait until I'm on the other side and can use this phrase... only 3 more months!

Only if you have students my friend. They get to learn while you get to relax. A win-win situation to me! LOL

Yes I am but honestly I wouldn't know where to start and I don't want to bother the pharmacists too much

Do most pharmacy schools offer free Lexi to their students?

I can't say one way or another - my school (a state school) does offer access to the online version - you can access it on your phone/tablet/laptop etc, but the actual iOS/Android app (not sure if there is an android app b/c I have iOS) is something you have to get on your own if you want it. I have it b/c I get it for free via military. So, in short, idk.

Any chance I can get access too? Hehe

Not even if I wanted to - For military I have to have an account with their online library system and have it tied to an email address. Only those in the military can get an account to the library. And for school - our school tracks the amount of uses for the ID/password - if too many they have it changed. They also change it year to year to ensure only current COP students have access.

Do you have the pharmacist letter? Do you think student should get it?

I do not think a student should get it only because it is usually a subscription a site or preceptorship have. And if they have it you can borrow/copy it. See if your school or one of your professors gets it.

I do not get it currently but may subscribe if I remember after graduation if I can't get it through the military.

You get nice things from the military! How long did you serve? They are paying for your tuition?
