Need some Advice

Hey guys,
I have a serious question about admission to FM programs as a DO. I have several programs I am interested in but they all seem to be semi-competitive. The one I am most interested in only takes one or two DO's every year or so, but I think it is more geography than anything else. And being a DO student, I really don't know about my USMLE score in terms of average USMLE scores of matriculating FP residents. My score is a 232/94 for Step One and I am wondering a couple of things. Should this get me serious looks at most allopathic programs, and should I even worry about taking Step 2 of USMLE in addition to COMLEX? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Well, I've been looking at some allopathic programs and was surprised to hear that they take the COMLEX scores without USMLE scores since they do see them as equivalent.

So, the best thing is to call the programs you like and see what they tell you. They will give you the best answer. And if they even took one DO within the last 5 years, then the only thing stopping you is your interview!
