Hello all;

This is my first time posting, so please let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place or anything- thanks for your patience :)

So I just got MCAT score back, and it's a 26 R. I currently have an undergraduate GPA of about 3.2. I really want to be an MD, but I know I have no chance at an acceptance this year. I really need help deciding what to do. I am having some difficulty deciding between the Caribbean (either St. George's or Ross) or an SMP. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really lost, so any help would be appreciated!

How about completing a postbacc program to bump up your UG GPA? Re-take the MCAT and prep for next year.

Or if you have your heart set on applying this year I would at least try and retake the MCAT.

Reconsider DO schools after spending a year getting your GPA higher, if you can´t do much better on the MCAT.
