Has anybody seen dental school acceptance ratios for in-state vs. out-of-state? I'm wondering which schools to focus on. I'm in a WICHE state with no dental school. I was really interested in U of Nebraska, but heard they only take 1 WICHE student per year.

UCLA & UCSF participate in WICHE
don't know which other states do... just know about these two because I was interested until I found out about the WICHE... I'm from VA sadly. :p

stats from 2007 ADEA book:

UCLA: 88 total first year enrollees, 76 in-state
UCSF: 80 total first year enrollees, 69 in-state

Here's nebraska...
Nebraska: 45 total first year enrollees, 33 in-state

Oregon and Washington are WICHE schools too. From the 05-06 ADEA book, Oregon had 55/73 (75%) instate, and Washington 47/55 (85%) instate.

Then some schools in the northeast participate in the New England Regional Student Program.

WICHE schools:
Washington, Oregon, Pacific, UCSF, UCLA, USC, Loma Linda, Colorado, UNLV, and ASDOH

And depending on what state you are from, your state might have contract agreements with schools such as Minnesota, Creighton, or Nebraska.
