For all you that took the mcat last sataurday, I need an opinion if you can. What type of verbal passages did you get???

Were they dealing with philosophy, psychology, art philosophy? I consider these types of passages hard to understand becuase of the complex concepts you have to grasp in a short period of time.

Or was it simple passages(less complex words) but you had to dig out the logic????????????

On the MCAT, expect anything and everything. On my exam, I had topics ranging from anthropology to sociology to natural sciences to philosophy to...Well, you get the picture.

logic man
sir drake struck us all
u cant just read it ..you haveto play " clue" with some passages

Do some practice MCATs - 3r, 4r, 5r, etc... That experience will be of much greater value than the anecdotal offerings that SDNers have.

I would practice doing passages!!!! Just reading wont help. The text they pick is meant to be poorly written, so reading stuff like Time wont really help. I would get all the passages your money can buy. Then do those. Seriously, i dont think someone who read common literature their entire life would have an advantage.....

The best advice for the verbal is understanding their style... look at the answer explanations.. you have to get the rhythm of the verbal passages and questions.

My 2 cents
