It seems that many neuro-o specialists do not operate. Is it possible to arrange your practice to see more neuro patients and continue to do surgery? Also, are there any neuro-specific operations? I have read about optic nerve sheath fenestration, but am unsure who would perform this procedure and how commonly it is done.

Thanks:cool:

Dr. Neil Miller at Hopkins did one year of orbit fellowship. He goes to the OR for muscle surgery, orbit decompression, and optic nerve sheath fenestrations. Many neuro-op people in private practice still do cataracts and various surgeries.
