Neurologist position- Multi Specialty Clinic
Physician will act as a Neuro- Hospitalist within a group of thirteen physicians serving North West Texas Hospital which is a 404 bed certified stroke center. This eight year old multispecialty group is also comprised of six primary care physicians and the new Neurologist will have one day in an out-patient clinic role. Each primary care physicians treats on average 16 patients per day, with an average census of 3 hospitalized (primary medical) patients per day. The new neurologist will have access to another Neurologist who is on staff with the group. Practice has full EMR and payer mix is as follows: 45% managed care, 32% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 6% Commercial Insurance and 1% self pay.
 Qualifications Preferred:
Experience in a hospital and outpatient setting.
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of training)
Texas licensed or in process.
This will be a salary position with quarterly bonus potential.
Salary will be based on experience and will be in accordance to the national averages based on M.G.M.A. compensation data.
Medical Malpractice will be covered, full health insurance can be purchased, vacation paid time off (15 days, plus major holidays) and CME expenses are included.
