Well, I'm taking a neurology rotation over the summer and was just wondering if anyone out there has a recommendation for a book to get through it. Is blueprints enough? Thanks in advance!

Blueprints for Neurology is great for the rotation.

If you want something aside from the blueprints, you should check out Blumenfeld's Neuroanatomy through Clinical Cases. We are using it for our Brain Mind and Behavior block and there are a lot of really good cases provided, as well as some really good chapters on neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and some good descriptions of pathology seen on neurological exam, etc. Kind of pricey, but word on our block says it is a really good book for quick reference. It WILL NOT fit in your whitecoat though 🙂 It is a big mama jama.

thanks for the help!

I read Clinical Neurology published by Lange and got a 90 on the shelf exam. It is a fantastic read.
