Hi, I'm currently a pre-dental student taking an Intro to Neuroscience class and I don't exactly understand a long problem and I thought maybe someone on this board might be able to help 🙂 Thanks so much in advance!
 
The answer is 42.

I guess he figured it out.
 
Maybe the hardest part is to find the problem he's referring to.
I took the liberty of looking up his previous posts and this is what I found. 🙄

An experimenter wishes to determine the function of a small area of the precentral gyrus, an area we will call the "Uncertain Function Area" or UFA. First, the experimenter studies the motor behavior of a sample monkey noting how it picks up objects with both its hands and feet, how it walks using all four limbs, how it uses its both hands and feet in playing with other monkeys, etc. The experimenter then captures the monkey, anesthetizes it and removes its left UFA. After the monkey has recovered from the anesthesia and the effects of the surgery, the monkey is returned to the large cage housing the other monkeys and is observed. It is observed to pick up objects with both its hands but rarely attempts to pick up an object using its right foot. The monkey appears to walk on all fours quick normally, but in playing with other monkeys uses its hands much more than its feet.

a) Name at least 2 variables present in the description of this experiment.
b) For each variable you mention describe what changes it undergoes during th ecourse of the experiment.
c) Name some of the constants present in the description of this experiment.

I believe the previous posters were correct when they stated the answer to this problem being 42.
