I think this will be helpful to applicants. It will be far less useful in the financial aid forum, where most aid posts go. Please don't move it, as it pertains to those just entering med school.

In response to the other aid thread lingering around in the pre-allo forum, I thought I would post this. Please give a percent breakdown of your aid package.

Example (mine):

Perkins loan: 22.8%
Sub-Stafford loan: 32.4%
Unsub-Stafford loan: 44.8%

I'll change it if I am awarded a scholarship. Don't hold your breath, my stats aren't that good.

what school is this from? I think it'd be helpful to keep track of what schools have awarded packages thus far (I'm still waiting on two!)
