ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program Las Vegas, Nevada
With the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, there is no better time to proudly call yourself “intensivist-in-training”. Located in the fabulous city of Las Vegas, Sunrise graduate medical education sponsors one-year Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship with Mountain View Hospital (HCA) as the primary site. Fellows will have the opportunity to work with faculty with diverse training background from tier one universities to take care of patients with various pathophysiology. Mountain View Hospital is also the primary site for internal medicine, general surgery, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine program. Our additional site at Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center serves southwest of Las Vegas Valley. Anesthesiology critical care medicine fellows will receive 1:1 training with our site director Dr. Voscopoulos for trainings in critical care ultrasonography, transesophageal echocardiogram, and percutaneous tracheostomy placement.
Famous for its international gambling industry, the city of Las Vegas also houses diverse community that we call home sweet home. While belong to Intensive Care Consortium, our intensivist group takes genuine and deep interest in resident and fellow education. Our goal is to train compassionate, well-rounded physicians who will practice evidence-based medicine, take leadership in community, improve access to health care, and bridge gaps between socioeconomic disparities.
HCA is one of the nation’s leading providers for healthcare and resident training in the United States. It provides comprehensive benefits, 401K matching and excellent stock options. Moonlighting is allowed as long as it does not interfere with work hour rules set by ACGME or fellows educational endeavors.
