NEW info versus Plan secondary question

Background:
Since submitting AMCAS, I started a new full time clinical position and started a clinical research position.
For the secondary app, some schools ask
Regarding XYZ, is there any new information not on the AMCAS?
in addition to the "what will you be doing for the next year or so?"
Any insight on the differences/ how to format the answers for each question?

Interesting, I was going to the NEW entry almost like I did my work experiences/activities and then shortly describe what I will be doing in the PLAN
