I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I remember reading some posts a while back about people asking if there were any integrated programs combining general and CT surgery. http://www.ctsnet.org/jobs/displayjob.cfm?j=4333

Now that's an interesting program.

How many CTS residencies out there integrate interventional cards and endovascular stuff? Perhaps in reality you'll never do the interventional cards stuff if you ever hope to do any hearts, but certainly the TAGs and all that other stuff is up for grabs right now.

Good program. If I were a med student, I'd probably want to do something like that, although eight years is a really long time (though being in NorCal for eight years wouldn't be so bad).

Looks pretty cool.

Only downside would be living on a resident's salary in Palo Alto for 8 years... food stamps, anyone?

:scared:
