Does anyone know which programs were granted integrated IR residency at their meeting in January? They were supposed to post something up in February but I don't think I've posted anything yet.

Congratulations to the following institutions that received ACGME approval of their Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) designation or ACGME accreditation of their IR residency programs at the January 2017 Residency Review Committee (RRC) meeting. The next RRC review will be in April 2017.

10 Programs received an ESIR designation. The full list of 54 ESIR programs can be viewed on the SIR ESIR webpage:

  • Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis
  • Tufts Medical Center, Boston
  • University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham

  • University of Kansas (Wichita)
  • University of Massachusetts, Worcester
  • University of Minnesota, Minneapolis
