RWJ and NJMS both received my completed application on Aug 19th. Shouldn't I be hearing something soon?!? Getting squirrely!

Same here, although I was complete with both by mid July. No word, I'm out of state.

nj is a state school. last time i called them, they said they interviewed all in-state students first in the fall, and then all out of state later on. they dont have an interview pool, since they get so few applications compared to other schools.

i'm in-state, but im waiting for aug scores. i know njms doesn't review apps without them, regardless if you already have another score already.

i was complete at both in july and have heard nothing. Im also in-state. So hang tight. Im sure they passed over my application multiple times already, but Im still keeping my fingers crossed and am hoping for the best. Gosh, I want this so bad! 😳

I'm working as a Phys Therapist in NJ....man I want to stay in NJ!!!!

I think I was probably complete right around that same time, if not a little earlier. I only just heard from both schools last week within one day of each other. It's probably on its way.

in-state.. complete at both schools for more than a month. 34 on my mcats and still no interview from either school. so, i'm sure they still have a lot of people to look at.

make sure u call them to confirm receipt of all the materials...when i received my august scores I immediately told them (NJMS) about it and I got an interview invite a few days later after they received the scores

thank you. yea i was complete really early, i had applied last year so all my letters were in really early. Don't worry your gonna get yours, be patient with this process. I got the invite for NJMS. Good luck with the process

they have over 4000 apps for their 170 seats.....

I think some people are a little too anxious about the waiting period. Its only mid october and it's only know that the application process has gone into full swing. The majority of interviews happen between now and january though some continue on past that. I would say that 90% of the acceptances are sent out by december. As for the turnaround past the interview, i heart within 2weeks but the waitlist and rejection turnaround is a bit longer. So to all those that have applied, just be patient and focus on other things. Its tough but worrying about this isn't going to get you an interview/acceptance faster

I'm out of state and did not take August. It's not so much the waiting for the interview, it's that they have not indicated that my file was complete until I called them. Really, a school should provide some way to check besides calling and bugging the admissions office. 😡

Thanks guys!!! Ill let everyone know how the interview goes. I was complete A LONG time ago. They did not send a complete status notice, but I called sometime in July and I was complete then. 🙂
