I took the MCAT for the first time in June, scored a 27 Q, 7 physical 10 verbal 10 bio. I retook the MCAT august 21st and scored a 31 R with 9 physical, 11 verbal, 11 bio. My GPA is a 3.75, science gpa is 3.65, I have tons of clinical experience, and research experience. I have already submitted several secondary applications. Do I need to contact those schools to tell them of my updated score? Or will it automatically show up under my application through AMCAS? Thanks for the help.

Should automatically go (mine did), but would be best to contact schools to check on it.

Similar situation with me (27Q-->32P) from a retake in July. It will auto update for them. I emailed a few of the schools I already submitted to and felt like an ass as they were all just like "Yeah. We know. Cya."
