Hey Y'all,
Can anybody tell me what its like to live in the Irish Channel/Lower Garden District areas of New Orleans? Seems like it might be a) close to the medical centers, and b) (more importantly?) close to places to relax (aka bars and coffee shops
) in uptown. However, it might also be too tempting to play and not work. I think I just found a sweet place, and I think the mortgage banker might even agree...but I'd love some advice before I borrow a medium-sized truckload of money 
. I appreciate it.
